Out of Time brings skirmish-level combat to three distinct historical eras, Medieval (1066–1500), Colonial (1775–1865), and World War II (1939–1945), all powered by the core mechanics of Spectre Operations.
If you're a seasoned Spectre Operations player, the system will feel familiar, though you'll find new mechanics for Orders and Formations that are essential to learn.
In this 140+ page rulebook, Commanders and Officers can issue Orders to their Elements, granting tactical advantages. These Orders allow Elements to carry out limited Actions without using Momentum, and can organize troops into Formations to unlock further battlefield benefits.
The game is designed for forces of 5–50 models per side, making it ideal for casual sessions playable in an afternoon. Larger games are certainly possible, though they will demand more time and preparation.
This system is designed to be Miniatures agnostic.
It may not be possible to ship very heavy items outside of the Mainland UK.
